Article 3A: Qualifications of Members:
1. Active members shall be any RTT’s and RTR’s currently employed in a hospital or clinic
based radiation oncology department on a full or part time basis.
2. Student Members shall be those
students who are enrolled in an approved RTT or Dosimetry training program. Eligibility for this category shall terminate
on the conclusion of or discontinuation of such training. Student members shall have privileges and obligations
of members except the right to hold office and vote.
3. Retired members shall be those persons 55
years of age or older who are formally retired from an active radiation oncology setting. Retired members
shall have all the privileges of membership extended by the society.
4. Associate members shall be those
persons not eligible for active membership and shall have privileges except those of introducing motions, voting, serving
on committees and holding office.
5.
Inactive: Any RTT or RTR not currently employed in a
hospital or clinic based Radiation oncology department. Inactive members can hold office, have the same rights and privileges
as active members and pay the same dues as active members.
