Radiation Therapist, Rice Lake WI

M-F; 7:30am - 4pm (40 Hrs/Wk)

The Radiation Therapist is an essential member of the Radiation Oncology

treatment team who is responsible for implementing the physician's

prescription for treatment. This position assists patients and families

by being sensitive to the need for emotional support, as well as

therapeutic treatment. The therapist collaborates with other members of

the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care for Radiation Oncology

patients.

Applicants must meet at least one of the following educational criteria:
-High school graduate who has completed the 24-month curriculum base in Radiation Therapy.

-Graduate of an accredited bachelor level program in Radiation Therapy

Technology.

-Graduate of an AMA approved educational program in Radiologic Technology and must have completed the curriculum base for a Radiation Therapist.

License/Certification: Must be certified as a Radiation Therapist by

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists). Must also be

registered by ARRT or registry eligible and obtain registration within

one year from date of hire.
